Jean-Marc Gosse was born in France, in the “Baie de Somme”. Perhaps the northern lights that bathed his childhood is what sparked the desire in him to become an image maker. He first started with architectural photography and portraits, before taking various courses at the Institut Lumière and finally shifting towards advertising and TV documentary films. He then proceeded to direct various series of documentaries on music and architecture, as well as numerous important cause and cultural campaigns rewarded in advertising festivals in France and abroad.
Jean-Marc likes to look at things and beings with a sensitive eye. Always looking for a sense of balance, of finesse and harmony between form and substance. The artistic direction is an essential part of his work and for him every detail counts and must serve an idea or a message to be passed along. He enjoys directing comedy films as much as food films or very visual clips.
